Aim Of World Peace Summit 2007

The World Peace Summit expresses and spreads the respect for basic human values, other cultures, traditions, nationalities and religions. It follows the Millennium Development Goals of the UN and the principles included in the Earth Charter. The World Peace Summit calls upon the political, social and spiritual leaders in the world to create an effort to secure a sustainable world peace and to demonstrate tolerance, respect and understanding through unity in diversity.

Slovakia is proud to have this golden opportunity as well as to present the own culture and to contribute to the world peace in the whole world. Bratislava as one of the most beautiful cities located at the bank of Danube river will continue the tradition after the renowned summits in historical cities: Austria-Vienna (2002), Australia-Sydney (2003), Czech Republic-Brno (2004), Republic of Croatia-Zagreb (2005) and Slovenia-Ljubljana (2006).
